IT is responsible for all technical matters in the AStA and some other committees.

Among other things, our department manages the AStA homepage and the mailing lists of all student groups and also provides them with storage space if required, for example to set up their own homepage or forum. Of course, we are also on hand with help and advice.

We also support the student councils with all technical questions and manage the user accounts within the AStA network.

In addition, the department tries* to introduce students to some of the advantages of using computers through lectures and events, for example on working with LaTeX, PGP signing and the like.
